Our arrival in Hong Kong Airport was smooth and easy. Quick transit through Border Control. Great directions by staff to the Taxi Kiosk. We were given a ticket with the approximate cost for our taxi fare to our hotel. Total cost including Tolls only 350 HKD.
Ibis Hotel – Hong Kong Central
Good Choice. Check In was smooth and fast. We were surprised at the great view we had from our Room 1804. We could actually see the Star Ferry in the harbour. Small room but had facilities including kettle for coffee and tea.
We are exhausted and even though it is only 5 PM we are starving. That’s due to our early start to our travel day. We track down a small Aussie Pub that we find through TripAdvisor. Only a short walk from our hotel . Excellent big burger and beer.

What a posh hotel! So jealous you got to go to Hong Kong; it’s at the top of my list of places to see in Asia, let alone the world. Can’t wait to see what more you have in store for us!
