These photos from 2012, bring back memories of our time in Nepal. It was one of our most amazing trips we have taken.

Kathmandu Durbar Square
Several buildings in the Square collapsed due to a major earthquake in 2015. Durbar Square was surrounded with spectacular architecture for over several centuries. We are lucky we got to see all this before the destruction.

Boudha Stupa

This dominates the skyline. We learned it is one of the largest stupas in the world. As of 1979, Boudha Stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Looks like an amazing place ..one we’ve never been to

When you were there …was there only a few hours a day with power. We were so cold during the night.

I forgot about that! Yes, the power was in for a few hours only. I don’t remember being cold at night, but we did the Annapurna trek and I remember some of the cold showers 🙂
