Cardiff Market
The market has two shopping levels. Entrance to the market is located at St. Mary Street, where our hotel is located. I learned the market dates back to 1891. The Cornish Shop was a show stopper. Where I am a bit of a health freak those steak pastries had to be devoured.. I don’t want to think about how many calories I ate…

St John Baptist Church
Near to the market is St John Baptist Church. A ancient church dating back to the 12th Century. Cardiff has 2 structures dating to medieval times. Everyone knows about Cardiff Castle — St, John the Baptist Church is the other.

Have been to Cardiff twice. A great city. Lovely lamb for meat lovers.

The number of centuries to contemplate is just unthinkable compared to what can be found in North America.

Never been to Wales, but it sure does look stunning! Those Cornish pasties look divine, and it’s one reason to go! Can’t wait to read more about your time in Wales.
