I’m a fan.. I am always surprised at how some ignore this bird because it is black.. I think it is precious.. and love its antics.

Wonderful shots! Like many birds with black feathers we can see blue and purple in the black too. It amazes me how such fragile looking little creatures like this are so much better adapted to this planet than we humans are with our shelters from weather, our clothing, our heat or cooling machines. We should have evolved feathers too! Lol! 💕

I showed your photo to my African Grey Parrot. He learned “More Cowbell!” and morphed it into “More Cowbird!” and other cow things. He was like “WTF! Cowbirds really exist?” He’s a neurotic, funny, fowl beaked parrot.
