Beijing – Forbidden City

2019 – China We saw this Full Moon early morning Tian Anmen Square. So many people here.

The Forbidden City was named the Former Palace is an imperial palace complex of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368–1912) in Beijing, China.

We saw these large red walls and yellow glazed roof tiles. After its completion in 1420, the Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors, their families and servants during the Ming (1368–1644) and the Qing (1644–1911) dynasties.

  1. You went 10 years after I did to Beijing! I was only a kid when I visited, but it’s true that China has a long and rich history. Glad you got to check out the Forbidden City!
