  15. How fun! I used to decorate my tree with Hawaiian ornaments made of coconut materials, wood roses, and other native materials — I love to see creative use of local decorations!

      1. When I lived there, every weekend day there would be boutique shops in the parks in Honolulu — I bought all the ornaments at those little booths! Most of them would be pretty easy to make — my favorite was about the first inch of a coconut shell with a red hat and a cotton beard glued on to make a Santa face! Lots of fun for a locally made decoration!
