Newfoundland – We saw these Kissing Rocks near the coastline, Bonavista Peninsula. Sea arches form at headlands, or areas of rocky land that jut into the sea. The waves wear away or erode the rock from both sides of the headland, creating this sea arch.

We hiked around and it was such an incredible site we visited.

Amazing rock formations!

Great name for the rocks. Before I saw the name, I saw the photo, and I thought the rocks were kissing.

The Kissing Rocks are beautiful, but its the fog shrouding it that makes it even more sublime! If I didn’t look closer, I’d assume this was a painting!
