It began during the Civil War in the 1800’s. We walked through these war tunnels and and the dungeons We. climbed the steps to the top of the cliffs .


From the cliff there are panoramic views of Hamilton Harbour from the walls of this Victorian-era stone garrison. Built by the British in 1870, the fort never saw battle, and the massive, 18-ton artillery pieces were never fired in defence of the city.

We saw so many cannons on the grounds of Fort Hamilton. Pat is sitting on another Cannon.


The moat has been transformed into a lush garden and so beautiful.

No..very ancient relics ..but plants are growing in the soil.

Bermuda is such a lush and beautiful Island, I have always missed it! Try the Metro Stone Ginger Beer, sooo delicious!
