Located 25 kilometres from Duong Dong, Coconut Prison was the grimmest part of our tour. The gruesome displays of various tortures and viewing the escape tunnel was beyond what we wanted to see.
I thought some of what we were seeing was propaganda by the victors from the North. However most likely there were terrible atrocities from both sides.
The positive way to end our day was having a romantic dinner overlooking the ocean and a nice cold bottle of wine.
