We walked this Trail and saw this Tree with the rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk.. Looks like he has a nose his face.
This Chipmunk and he was a great poser
We saw this from the trail Back Harbour on the head of St. Margaret’s Bay.

The woodworker in me says the burl on that tree would make a beautiful piece of furniture. The nature lover in me would be grieved to see it cut down. It is certainly full of character.
