On the UC Berkeley campus the squirrels are tame. There are so many running jokes about them. I kid you not, one put its paws on me. In East Oakland, the squirrels are a-holes

What a great catch!
One morning last week we had one jump up to our kitchen window, I assumed because the peanut feeders were in need of refilling. I went out and topped up the feeders and within a minute the squirrel was back.
