  1. Fabulous sunset! The bright dot is lens flare, possible caused by a slight smear on your lens or speck of dirt, but more likely simply a by-product of shooting straight into the sun. It could easily be removed in editing but I often keep them as to be these flares suggest how my eyes feel when looking into a sunset!

  2. That dot is caused by a light reflection inside the lens (lens flare). Digital cameras are prone to these, especially when shooting into the sun (and the moon, too), but you can remove them with software. It’s a great photo though. I was much more focussed on the double reflection. Great capture!
