Was just reading about that! Some of our roads into the interior of the province will not be fixed for travel here during the holidays so many people in Vancouver will not be visiting family that live out of town. Another year where things aren’t what many were hoping for during the holidays.
It’s hard to believe these are real leaves, Anita. The first one especially, looks just like a brooch. Well done to have spotted and photographed these.

It’s fascinating having that sliver of frost add to the colorful contrast of the plants! Makes it look somewhat unreal, although it’s very natural!
