The largest container arrived in the Port of Halifax Nova Scotia on Monday night from South Asia.

With a length that’s equivalent to nearly three-and-a-half football fields, the Marco Polo was hard to miss at the port.
The ship is able to hold 16,022 twenty-foot long containers.

That is huge! Some years ago I did a bit of work for quarantine services and got to walk around a bulk carrier – that was big, but the container ship in your photo is massive!

Wow what a marvel of engineering 🙏👌. I could only imagine how much more profound it looks in real life and to actually be that close to it 😂💙

Wow, so huge. No wonder sometimes one of them could get stuck in a narrow channel. This one looks wonderful–so blue.
