I would love to go back to Canada again. I have been to Ontario. Would love to explore the west, too! Wonderful pictures, the one with the ice breaking up looked like glass breaking, Glad you liked my blog, too!

Beautiful photos! Canada is another country I think of in blue and white. The heron was arresting so was the cracked ice, images of the two different seasons and water everywhere. The last image was especially dramatic. I loved this glimpse into your world.

Lovely variety in this one Anita – that rock through the ice about says it all! What in heaven’s name does that heron have on its beak – a worm, a snake, or something else entirely?!

Thanks Tina..so pleased I found this Lens Artist a while back from your site.. the heron has a worm in his beak …it is known as a horsehair worm.
