My Dad was Signal Corps.WW11. He was with military and more than ever combat depended on communications.
They are all climbing the pole with these Signal Corps
They were on this vehicle with their guns during the war.
My Dad in the back on second left were military together .
Commanders using field radios could continuous contact with their troops during rapid advances.

The Signal Corps is extremely important in all branches of the military. So happy to finally see your father’s picture, a very good-looking man. You must be very proud of him!

Amazing images. I’m a military wife currently in Wiltshire, there’s a few Canadian war graves in my local military cemetery. The Canadian contribution was and always will be honoured.
