So I was on my regular path when I am taking pictures and I seen a male Cardinal. I took a look and up and seen this Baby Cardinal and so I got a few shots and then I caught Dad feeding the little one.
This Red Cardinal was standing on the Branch
Later I saw this couple together on the ground

what striking birds! We don’t have them in Australia – although we have many native birds of so many colours – but cardinals have a strong red colour you dont often see unless you are looking at parrots!

I have a couple who have adopted my front yard, I love watching them come and go .. this year I got to watch as they fed and tended their young.
