Sept 2019 Trip to France -With Boeing 737 Max 8 out of the sky, we now have an unusually long flight from Nova Scotia to Paris. Seated in Row 45. A bit cramped but not bad. Now we are flying back over our city where we just came from France .
Charles de Gaulle Airport
Surprised to have such long wait time for a cab at Charles de Gaulle Airport. Forty five minutes to catch a cab. Best part. The cab driver is very friendly. An hour drive and 55 Euros, we arrive at our hotel.
Hotel de Flore – Montmartre
We are pleased with this place. Well laid out and a great location. And a very comfy bed.
Yesterday we stood in front of the Eiffel Tower yesterday and so amazing.
Later we the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Montmarte

Delighted to see you’ve been to Paris as well. My cousin had a successful translation business there so I have fond memories of being in that charming city as well as other adventures in the south of France on holidays. I later created a weaving for my wall that I called Memories of France. It’s a valued reminder of good times. I do hope you collect a few cherished reminders on your travels to enjoy in your home for those ‘between times’.

Paris is beautiful. We went many years ago. I remember the Basilica and it was a bit on the cold side for July. Enjoy your stay. Thank you for sharing your photos.
