Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

Only 13 Km from Cape Town City Center. It is situated on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. We learned a botanist Harold Pearson converted this area into a botanical garden in 1913 to save the country’s indigenous flora. Being a garden lover, this was a site I am so pleased to have seen. A huge variety of plants and trees which created the atmospheric scenery

We noticed these two birds Spotted Eagle-Owls and accompanied us along the pathway and they were staring at us.

We returned from our outing and we saw these lovely vibey street side performers. This is truly a space to spend hours on end.
