      1. I only bought earrings there. I was a bit overwhelmed on that trip, my first to PR China, but on the next trip to Beijing I bought my wife a necklace, bracelet and rings to match at the pearl market there.

  6. My own favorite among these fine images is the one of people poling a boat (on the Mekong River?), with a flight of birds and a lovely combination of pale orange in the clouds with blues and greens below.  Such a precious moment.

      1. Was that trip during the spring last year? I love the cherry blossom trees picture! I know I can’t afford to go to Asia to see them, but I am planning to go to Washington DC next spring when the cherry blossoms bloom.
