We drove across from New Brunswick on this Island on this Confederation Bridge to PEI. Later it was built in 1997.

We saw these yellow plants but I couldn’t see these vegetables.

We drove by and saw so much cattle in these farms.

Travelling is my joy of living. Sit back relax and come with me.

PEI is certainly a good place to relax in Canada in the summer, the pace of life is so relaxed. I have fond memories of it too.

The yellow looks like Canola which seems to be a cropping staple these days.

It used to be better knowing as Rape seed, but it wasn’t a great marketing name. Little black seeds that you find in commercial bird seed, but is also the basis for producing the oil that forms margarine and other spreads. I think its easier to grow and in high demand these days. Where I am it is everywhere in farming districts.

We are surrounded by fields of the yellow flowers here in France, they are where canola comes from, as another comments said.
