1. Crocus are one of my favorites, they remind me that spring is coming.

      1. Wow, May. When we lived in the Settle area they would come up in early February, so they were one of the first promises that spring was coming.

9. ….actually, the correct name for this early-bloomer is ‘Pasque Flower’ (https://www.floraqueen.com/blog/the-pasque-flower) due to how it often blooms in tandem with Easter 🙂
