We saw the Story of these Big Horn Sheep in Alberta and they are running by on this road. They definitely caught our attention.

We visited here in St . Petersburg 2010 and standing in front of this Temple with the Savior of Blood. It defiantly was such an amazing site .

I grew up in Cape Breton but I moved into Halifax. But later I saw this guy over the Cabot Trail with the Bag Pipes and the Highland Fling .

Fun Anita! One of the few places I’ve not been that I’d love to visit. It looks magical.

Wonderful photos and memories, Anita. I would love to go to St. Petersburg someday…but definitely not any time soon! We just came from Scotland…so your bagpiper brought back some memories for me, too. 🙂

Yeah. The Highland fling in Scotland is a dance, not the kilt … but maybe the connection is to France rather than Scotland?

Great selections. I was in Red Square circa 1991 or so and they were filming a segment for The Muppets. Kermit the Frog said something to the effect “Hmm. I smell a little basil in the air.” What a card he is.
