We visited there five years ago in Cambodia. Khmer Temple in Ankor in the 12th Century. The Bayon stands at the center of Javavarman’s capital. We saw these smiling stone faces of Buddha. We climbed up the terrace and walked by the stone Faces.

What an evocative sublime photo. The contrasts and complements are perfect. I visited Bayon in 2018 too. My guide led me to quirky photos (nose to nose with one sculpted face). Your eye led you to beauty.
