Thank you for the second photo. My wife always had her wooden shoes at the ready and her mother had a pair hanging next to the front door, similar to the photo.

She was a folk singer with her mother and sisters. They dressed in traditional Dutch costumes and then sang and danced on stage to folk music from around the world. If you go to the Texas Institute of Culture in San Antonio, Texas. Under the space needle, or whatever they call it, she is inducted there. Moeder Molly and her Dutch Dochters.
