Another busy day in Halifax, N.S., as the massive cruise ship, “Norwegian Breakaway” arrived in port for a one day visit. A magnificent ship, with a capacity to carry 4,819 passengers. She just missed Hurricane “Earl” as it passes Nova Scotia today, thankfully well offshore.

My hubby and I love cruising but have passed on the huge ships.
My SIL will be on this one on Sept. 28. We declined the invite due to the ship size.
We’ve been on 26 cruises and all have been less tha 2000 people. I’m glad you missed H Earl.
We missed one in hurricane on our June cruise. The only drawback to this type of travel.

This was largest cruise ship I have ever seen. I don’t like being on cruise ships but do love seeing other countries from around our world.

All of the cruise lines are making these montser ships. There’s too much walking and too many people. But, it’s our favorite way to vacation due to limited mobility.

I’ve never cruised. The size of these ships is somehow intimidating. I’m sure I’d love it if I ever tried one.
