March full moon was seen in the Old Farmers Almanac. The name Worm Moon comes from the idea of earthworms and larvae emerging in the spring soil, and acting as sustenance for songbirds.

We have the opposite as we are going into Autumn. Perhaps Australia needs its own moon names, perhaps it does 🧐 research needed – gorgeous photo.
