The Big Five – Africa

In Africa, the Big Five game animals are, Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhinoceros and Cape Buffalo. We saw many of these in countries where we have travelled including, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa.

Young Male Lion – Kenya
Leopard – Sabi Sands ( Private Game Reserve) – Kruger
Kruger -Elephant walking towards us – We should have stayed in the Jeep.
White Rhino – Tanzania
Cape Buffalo – Kruger

  2. There is a water buffalo slightly smaller than the buffalo in your photo and the farmers in the Philippines are using them in the rice field for tilling soil etc they do the hard work as they are very strong but they can be a pet too by some farmers kids haha!
