We entered inside The Commissioner’s House and it became this Museum. We noticed 200 years of slavery from Africa and they arrived to Explore 200 years of slavery in Bermuda, from the early years of settlement after 1612.

We saw so many photos of these Slaves and they are so sad.

I would enjoy this museum!

Thank you for sharing this brutal truth of human history. I wrote a post about Josiah Hanson’s story a while ago. He landed here in Niagara via the Underground Railroad, an escaped slave. It’s an inspiring story. Enlightening post Anita.

Our evolution as a Species, as the Human Race, has a long history of slavery and other cruelties. May we grow wiser, caring and kinder. 💖
