We saw these colorful Wood Ducks here in Nova Scotia. They live in the marshes and maybe in these swamps. Later we never saw these years ago .This male has bright Green head and chestnut colors below. This female has a delicate white and black pattern around her head.

We had them when I little ducks was green purple. And male was following me to the school together with the rooster.

Aren’t ducks terrific? They are one of my earliest memories as both sets of grandparents would take me to feed or see ducks near their homes.
