Frosty Day – Today

A snow day is wrapping up just in time for the week. This morning I was able to go out for a walk, with a bit of snow falling.

White-tailed deer are staring at me. The most common deer species in all of North America are not native to Nova Scotia. White-tailed deer arrived in the province over 100 years ago.

Yesterday evening we saw this great sun just above this Bedford Basin .

  1. The deer are so cute! It’s interesting to learn that they aren’t native to Canada; I assume they come from somewhere else in North America? Looks like a cold, but beautiful wintry scene in your neck of the woods!
