Christmas Light Show

Halifax’s Connaught Avenue have hosted one of the city’s most visited Christmas light displays.

Each year, brothers Carman and Nick Giacomantonio, originally from Whitney Pier in Cape Breton, have worked together on the exhibit. They are both Doctors. Nick is a Cardiologist and Carmen is an Oncologist. They are very intelligent.

Giacomantonio is also collecting donations for the Salvation Army. We do this to save poor people.

The display includes a big screen playing A Charlie Brown Christmas on the front lawn and holiday music.

  1. Love the Christmas lights and look forward to this each year.

Our street is a cul-de-sac and each Christmas Eve, cars are parked off the road and everyone lights up the edge of the road with tea candles in brown paper bags held down by sand. This is Santa’s runway so he can find his way.
The couple across the road are musos and put on live music in their yard. The whole street comes out and parties with kids having a ball and adults mingling. It’s such a lovely evening, which for me, is what Christmas is all about. 🙂

Hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas and thank you for your support!

    wherever you may roam.

    with joy that long endures.
