South Africa- Cape Town

2014 – Cape TownVictoria and Alfred Waterfront. These photos bring back memories of the time we visited Cape Town and enjoyed our time and the food was so delicious. Robben Island – We took ferry across from Simons Town . A very interesting site we saw .

Simon’s Town – Boulders Penguin Colony- Less than an hour drive from Cape Town to . A very popular beach area for locals and tourists. Our goal was to see the penguins at Boulder Beach area. These penguins are only located on the coast of South Africa. They were building nests with each other.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden – Only 13 Km from Cape Town City Center. It is situated on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. We learned a botanist Harold Pearson converted this area into a botanical garden in 1913 to save the country’s indigenous flora. Being a garden lover, this was a site I am so pleased to have seen. A huge variety of plants and trees which created the atmospheric scenery

We noticed these two birds and accompanied us along the pathway and they were staring at us.

We returned from our outing and we saw this. It was an amazing world class attraction. From the vast amount of variety in terms of shopping and to the lovely vibey street side performers. This is truly a space to spend hours on end.
