THE BEST MOMENT CAN BE THE WORST – On the edge of my seat in an open jeep. THERE ! A LEOPARD ! OMG he’s going to jump into the Jeep and grab me!! Driver says, “Stay calm, no screaming!” This is the excitement we signed up for. Somehow I managed to keep my mouth shut and with that, all five of us lowered our cameras and remained still and quiet. This leopard was young and frisky and came a bit too close for comfort. Once he turned and moved off we were ready for a coffee break for sure!

I have to say being on Safari is always one of my most unforgettable travel experiences. Sabi Sands was the first of several safaris we did while in South Africa and it rates up there as one my favorites.
magnificent!

I am new to this. I started a blog and suddenly it has become inundated with unsolicited advertisements. Is there a way to stop this?

You were really lucky to see this leopard … although maybe a bit too close for my comfort 😉. But what a wonderful experience – great photo’s!

What a majestic animal (and scary)! You can now say that you’ve been up close with a leopard…and lived to tell the tale!

I’m very jealous. I’ve been on about 6 safaris and have yet to see a leopard. Great shots!

Such a beautiful cat! I noticed that you left the letter U out of Favorites, are you becoming American, Anita?

Yes such an amazing site we saw. Favorite or fabulous. Ha!

I like to add the letter U to some words because in my opinion, that is the proper way to spell them. Lucky you growing up being taught correct English spellings!
