European settlers, Eastern Passage began seasonal use of the channel starting about 1712. It is restored as 200 year-old fishing village. Rich in history. The construction of CFB Shearwater a military air base, at the northern boundary of the community during World War 1.
It is located at the entrance to the Halifax Harbour, just 20 minutes from downtown Halifax. Quite an amazing area to hike around . And there so many fabulous restaurants and gift shops

Looks like a cool place to check out. We are planning a trip there in July so might have to make this a stop 🙂

When I visited Nova Scotia, that walk along the harbor was by far my favorite. I loved the view of the city and the view of the water and all the boats in-between.
