Chobe National Park – Safari on the River We started our safari by boat. The Chobe River flows into Zambezi where Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana intersect. Seeing animals swimming in groups along the river was a first for us and an amazing experience. Lines of elephants and groups of hippos were a show stopper.
Botswana – Jeep Safari – Returning from our three hour river safari we went through the bush by jeep. We saw Giraffe, Elephants, Hippos, Crocodiles along the river, Puko ( looks a bit like deer) and the highlight was a young Leopard snoozing on a tree branch. He is bored with tourists taking his photo.

He is a baby and saying hi to us. I see so many leopards all over Africa but a huge one so close to me and had to keep my arms inside the jeep..ha!

I haven’t heard much about Botswana before, but the safari experience isn’t surprising! That leopard must be so used to tourists right now that he doesn’t care to entertain anymore, haha!

Botswana was our first time there . This baby leopard was so peaceful resting in the tree…but he did get our attention.
