Teatro Greco Romano, Sicily

(2018) Rebuilt in 300 BC on an ancient Greek structure dating back 200 BC. Sitting high above the coast with incredible scenic views over Taormina, Isola Bella and Mount Etna.. ..No doubt a photo is worth a thousand words.

This is the second largest historic amphitheater in Sicily, with a diameter of 120 meters. It is used for theater performances and concerts. We sat on the steps and imagined we are at an opera. We are lucky we beat the crowds when busloads of tourists arriving as we leave. The Morning is the right option.
