(2018) -Medina is named the “Silent City, because at one time it was the capital of Malta, but after the Great Siege it lost its role. The seat of government is located in Valletta for security.

Medina is an amazing walled city. For most part transportation is by foot or by horse and carriage. The streets are narrow. The stone buildings and walls are so high. We were transported to a different space and time. The around the area seems like a Museum. Charming narrow passageways paved in stones and are worn smooth over thousands of years by foot traffic and horse hooves.

Walking around the wall gives a panoramic view of Sliema, Valletta and Comino. Such a perfect photo opportunity.

Thank your for touring the walled city through your beautiful images.
