“The Dingle” – Quiet Walk

Before the First World War, the tower overlooking the Northwest Arm was the toast of the town. “The Dingle,” Haligonians always think of the Town Dingle, Ireland.

During the 1880s Sir Sandford Fleming, famous for introducing standard Time to North America and he constructed The Railway . He called his retreat The Dingle, the name that is always still used today.
