Bluenose II – Early Evening

Built in 1963, Bluenose II we saw this ship sailing by the Light House – Peggy’s Cove. I notice there were no tourists on board. This is a Canadian rural community in, Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia’s Sailing Ambassador, Bluenose II, is an exact replica of the original Bluenose — the famed schooner and undefeated champion in the International Fisherman’s Races.

A small fishing village Peggy’s Cove with a population of approximately 30 residents. Solid granite slopes surround it and protects residents during raging Atlantic seas.
