Remembrance Day – November 11

Remembrance Day is a day for all to remember those who served and the sacrifices they made. It is a day we encourage every individual, young and old, to pause, to give thanks, and to remember.

My Dad Lamey Jobe – Signal Corps. World War 11. He was missing in action behind lines and he survived and protected others to escape. If he was gone I would not be here in this world.

World War 1 – Cape Breton Highlanders – 94th Battalion -Our Great Uncle Thomas Buckley- on the left in the back row.

  1. Thank you for remembering Veterans Day. My husband is a Vietnam Vet and I’ve seen what torture he lives with. No we must never forget what war does and I pray that war will be wiped off the face of the earth.
