Flower of the Day – 09-24- Tulip Tree

Liriodendron tulipifera—known as the tulip tree but is actually a member of the Magnolia family. This majestic species usually lives to be 150 years old and can grow up to 35 to 50 m tall! It is happy growing in my woodland area.
