Fishing Village

Built in 1963, Bluenose II sailing by the Light House – Peggy’s Cove.

Nova Scotia’s Sailing Ambassador, Bluenose II, is an exact replica of the original Bluenose — the famed schooner and undefeated champion in the International Fisherman’s Races.

A small fishing village with a small population of approximately 30 residents. Solid granite slopes surround it and protects residents during raging Atlantic seas.

  1. That photo of Peggy’s Cove looks more like a painting than anything! Given how sparsely-populated and isolated it seems, Peggy’s Cove is a place I’d be keen on checking out someday. πŸ™‚
