Flower Of The Day- July 2 -Rose Chloris

This was a rose I have from my Dad’s garden. It arrived in Cape Breton from France and was developed by Jacques-Louis Descemet (France, before 1815). It is a thorn less bush  with pale pink flowers and an exceptional fragrance. Very hardy, and did I mention thornless? It is an early bloomer.
