Manuel Antonio Beach —Who is that in the Water ???

My favorite beach in Costa Rica is at Manuel Antonio. Don’t get me wrong…yes the waves are strong but watch out for the undertow!!! Warm pristine waters and a beautiful white sand beach is a place not to miss.

Love taking photos while travelling. When I zoomed in I was surprised to see this huge fish jumping out of the water. Anyone know what type of fish this is ?? Marlin??? Sailfish???????

Walking from one end of the beach to the other end is perfect way to exercise… morning and evening. We rented a couple of chairs and umbrella, $6.00 every morning. My favorite way to cool down is to lie in the shallow water and let the ways toss me around.

  1. Hi – I never heard of a rooster fish and was going to say marlin ?
Anyhow – two things about this post that really stood out – first – you grabbed a massive fish getting some air like that! I know the thrilling feeling – just to see dolphins leap a bit is fun but such a unique fish is even more of a thrill

And second – I lthink a typo last sentence – ways maybe was me at to be waves

But got the meaning and that is a thing I love about the beach too – one of many things – and truly one of the reasons swimming in the sea recharges me

    Enjoyed this post so much

  2. Are you sure that isn’t two people being pulled out by the boat or just observing or waiting for the boat or the parasailer? Doesn’t look like a fish to me.

  4. Not sure what type of fish that is, but I’d say that beach is gorgeous! And much needed at a time when we still can’t travel. Thank you. I love Costa Rica. Which part of the country were you in?
