We visited here in 2018. Formerly known as Edo castle, it was renamed Tokei-jo or Tokyo Castle. One of the most amazing things about the Imperial Palace is its sheer size of its parks and greens. Surrounded by a water-filled moat and tree-covered grounds that birth cherry blossoms in spring, it’s a taste of nature right at the centre of a large metropolis that you can escape to. In fact, that’s what people do.
