Day 3- Bachas Beach- North Seymore
Baltra Island, also known as North Seymour is a small flat island in the center of the Galapagos. In the past it was a US Army Air Force Base during WW2. Now we have an idea what treats are in store. This morning is a wet landing at Bachas Beach. On the way over our guide points out some mating green sea turtles. This baby is so sweet.

We visit a beautiful coral beach with a salt water lagoon on the other side. There were a magnificent Flamingos in the lagoon, which came close enough to photograph and some Marine Iguana on the beach.

We see the Brown Pelican here as well. They are very common in the Galapagos. The Galapagos population of brown pelican is considered to be an endemic subspecies.

It looks great ! We were thinking of going there next year but that will probably be on hold on. 😦
