Sky Train known as the BTS (Bangkok Mass Transit System) is the best way to visit sites in Bangkok. Cheap way to get around for only $6.00 for a day pass.
Easy transfer to the River Boat from the Sky Train. The River Boat is a great way to see the sites from the water in Bangkok.

Temple of Dawn
Our plan was to see the Emerald Buddha but we jump off at the opposite side of the river…. wrong stop. Turns out we are at Phra Arun ( Temple of Dawn) . It is one of the most famous temples in Bangkok . The Temple of Dawn dates back over 300 years. It is massive with beautiful structure and mosaic tiled roofs. Many ancient buildings and relics to see.

Nice description of BTS in Bangkok, ET! It is extremely easy and quick to get around. Bangkok is a busy city and the BTS is a premier service for any traveller, seasoned or weary.
