3 hour, $59.00 drive by Taxi from Hue to Hoi An. The weather is clear giving us a good view of China Beach. Where it is off season, the beach is empty.

Thang Van 1 Hotel
Upon entering our hotel we are surprised to see the pool is in the center of the lobby. Disappointed that our room has no window. With our haggling and working a deal we are offered a much larger room and we have a window.
Rain Rain Go Away –
As we walk to the marketplace by the river, we are drenched. The narrow streets look like rivers. So are lucky the rain finally comes to a stop!!
Full Moon Lantern Festival
What a fairy tale place we are in. Chinese lanterns of all colors hanging above the narrow streets. I couldn’t resist buying one. The Japanese Covered Bridge is outlined with lights. From the bridge we see a show with music and images on the buildings across the way. Feels like we are in a Movie Set. Locals are selling floating candles. From the bridge we see a parade of the candles floating by. One of our favorite evenings out.

Vietnam is so picturesque, you get the best out of it. Thank you for these pictures.
