Manila – Greenbelt – Ayala Centre

Garden Addict ? Yep that’s me. High on my list is Greenbelt Park. Easy walk from our Hotel to Ayala Center.

Greenbelt Park

Right away I am captured by the peacefulness of these gardens. Fabulous design and lovely sculptures by Filipino artist Impy Pilapil.Β  Nice place by the shady pond area to take a break and escape the heat.

Sto. Nino de Paz Greenbelt Chapel

In the midst of a busy Mall, it is a good place to have a peaceful stop. We were surprised to see a Mass service being held during afternoon. Unusual modern design! A circular church with an alter in the middle.

Greenbelt Mall

By now we are starving. Huge varieties of restaurants. Difficult which one to choose. The Hot Pot Restaurant was a perfect choice. Fresh and filling.

This is a pricey shopping area. Ridiculously expensive. Many designer stores, Β Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Hugo Boss, etc etc etc. Not in my Ball Park.

This is our last day in Manila. With our short stay we had a chance to see more than expected. Early flight next morning. Goodbye Manila. ! May we meet again….
